Pennsylvania Lottery Player Pays $20, Becomes Millionaire

A shopper at a Schuylkill County gas station won a seven-figure prize from a scratch-off this week.

The lucky winner earned the top prize playing the $1 Million Money Tree scratch-off, a $20 game, state lotto officials said. 

The Pantry Quik at 855 West Penn Pike in Tamaqua will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. 

Scratch-off winners have up to one year from the date of purchase to claim their prize by signing the back and calling the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481.
